changes to my study program

hi bloggers!! how are you? I hope you be fine, today I´m going to talk about some changes that I would like to do in my study program. to begin with, I think that on my career there are to many teoric things but only a few things of real practice. it is a true that we have many practice activities but I think that this practices are not regular with the matters that we pass on class.

Another poitn of my study program that I have to considerated is that we have many classes of some matters that I`m considerate irrelevant for forestry and we need more courses of eviorment, ecosistems, global warming and other thing related with nature and her problems becouse we are some of the few people in the world how work on the nature and fight with her problems. I feel that I´m not very good prepare for that.

summer holidays

hi bloggers!! today I`m going to talk about my summer holidays, in this summer I would like to travel to the south of chile becouse I love it, I think the south is an amazing place with a lot of beautiful landscapes and also is in chile so the trip is not so expensive than a trip out of chile.

The first place I will go to travel is Cochamo, this is a place between Puerto Varas and Argentina, in this place there are many particular activities like climbing, Treking and swim in the lakes. Cochamo is surrounded by giants trees and powerfull rivers that make the place unique. To this place I will go with two of my best firends, they know everithing about camping and mountains so the trip is going to be relax but exitng at the same time. After Cochamo we will go to argentina by "El paso del leon" it`s take for 5 or 6 days walking, it`s very hard but it`s realy amazing, finaly we go to El Bolson a small twon in argentina this twon it`s very interesting with so much things to do. We start in januray and we will going to be travel about 3 or 4 weeks.

Afeter Cochamo I will going to go to another part of the south chile but most far away, this place is the national park Pumalin, this park was created by tompkins and is one of the most bigest national park in the countrie, in this park I will be walking about 2 weeks and then I return to santiago, to the reality.

My favorite TV show

hi bloggers!! today I`m going to talk about my favorite TV show; I like many TV programs but there is some particular serie that I enjoy very much this serie calls black mirror, this is a very special serie all the episodes are not conected but each one is so exiting and interesting, the TV serie want to explain how the technology affects the humanity, but in a extremely shoking way.

I remeber one particular episode thats impact to me when a backpaker loose all his money and have to work on a new gamer softwere, this softwere enter in to his maind and start to revive all his fears but when he want to stop the softwere has poop of his mind and get him crazy.

Theres is another episode about a couple married there are very happy but the husband die and she suffer a lot, after a few months she discover a new technology that she can buy a "ciber husband" just like her husband but she forgot that the robots are only that, robots.

Someone I´d like to meet

hi bloggers!! today I´m going to talk about someone that I´d like to meet, all my life I have been related whit mountains and climbing I enjoy very much climbing and walk in the mountains of the "cordillera de los andes", there is a men that I think is the best climber in the world his name is Reinhold Messner he is the only person how has climb all the 8.000 mts mountains and climb the everest with out oxigen, he is a legend betwen the climbers.

Rainhold Messner lost his brother in the "nanga parvat" one of the most diffcult mountains in the himalaya and he lost 4 fingers for the frozen, he never can climinb like before but he never stop and give up even when he lose his brother in the mountain. Rainhold is an example about perseveration and superation in the life, he is the most respect climber in the world and he was the best on his field.



Another person that I would like to meet is a pro kayaker, his name is Ben Mar, he is one of the most better kayakers in the world, he has run some of the most diffcult and dangerous rapids and won many kayak championship. I like very much this sport the river kayaking and I admirated the people how run waterfalls like Ben Mar. he is an artist.

postgraduate studies

hi bloggers!! Today I´m going to talk about a postgraduate studie that I would like to do in the future, first I have to say it´s I´m study forestry at the univertisy of chile and I like very much my career so I realy want to keep study on a postgraduate when I went out of the university.

In the future I would like to do a postgraduate related with ecology or something like that, becouse thats an area that I realy enjoy and considerate a realy important thing when we talk about nature. I belive that nature are one of the most importants things that we can study becouse nature have all the resourses that the humanity need and also have millions of differents species that we must to protect.

I think an ecology postgraduate would give me a lot off tools to carry out differents problems about ecosistems and particular species and I can created differents ways to protect and study better the all branchs of the nature.

In this particular case I would like to study this postgraduate out of chile maybe in europe or in new zeland becouse in those parts they have all the teachers and the equipment that a I need to study a realy good postgraduate and finish that with a lot of knowledge about ecology.

My future job

Hi bloggers!! today I´m going to talk about my future job, it´s realy difficult to me to talk about my future job becouse i dont have any idea about what im going to do. but I have some inclinations regarding what I like to do. there are many things that you can do in forestry such as working in the wood, in investigations, in some national park, in conservation, and many other subjects.

About me I would like to work in a national park being a forest ranger, and you may ask why I´m studying a career for it, well, that´s becouse I like to learn about plants and politics of conservation and then apply this knowledge in the national park and making it better.

When I end my carrer i wouldn´t like to take a major becouse i think that with only the diploma I will have the knowledge that I need to do as well as necessary my job of forest ranger, and i realy want to come out of the university as early as posible, save some money and then travel before i start to work.

The main reason that I would like to become a forest ranger is becouse i realy enjoy the outdoor, i would never like to work in an office or something like that, i would enjoy being in a forest and working on it to transform it into a better place protecting the plants and animals of the park.

Election day

hi bloggers!! today Im going to talk about the election day and all related with voting, first I have to say that I did vote in the last election day, this has take place in pirque the twon how I live and i vote for Pamela Bravo to will be the mayor of my twon, unfortunately she wasnt be elected.

The vote is a very powerfull tool for the people becouse it is the only way to express and do something with your ideas and see when that opinion comes in somehing more strong and concrete. I think that today many people dont care about the vote becouse they are idle or just they are not informed about the candidates.

I never have the idea to became a politician becouse i never like the laws and the politic, and also I never like the politicians in chile, i think there are all corroupts and do only things in his benefit and not in the benefit of the people.

I think that the vote will be mandatory again, becouse the last elections they seemed like a joke, only the 30% of the chilean people go to voting and thats its not representing, the vote must to be mandatory and the guberment of chile have to created informed politics of the all candidates and pilitcs colors and when they do that the people will be more interesting to vote and chile maybe will be a better place.

the best concert i have ever seen

hi bloggers! today Im going to talk about the best concert I´ve ever seen. first I have to say that I go to many concerts on my life some of reggae some of classic music and others of pop music, but I remember one specific concert of classic rock, the rogers waters concert in 2012, this is the singer of pink floyd and he was presented "the wall" in my opinion the best CD of the band.

I remember perfectly that day, I went with my father another fan of pink floyd and we were so exited about the concert, the sound and the energy of the music was incredible and roger waters was spectacular in the stage.

in that concert the band play all of my favorites song like "another brick in the wall", "hey you", "comfortably numb", "mother" and many others. the concert went on for three hours, three hours of the best kind of music, the show and the quality of the sound was realy amazing like no other concert I have ever seen.

I will never forget that concert, the songs, the show, my excited dad, it was realy amazing for me.

A country i would like to visit

hi bloggers! today im going to talk about a country i would like to visit, obviously i would like to visit many countries arround the world some one in europe and others in north amercia but there is some particular country that i think its one of the most amazing and beatifull place in the world. this country is nepal.

but why nepal? the main reason is becouse the Himalaya, the biggest mountains arround the world, i always beeing fasinated about this becouse i like climb mountains a lot. the powerfull and the beauty of the Himalaya realy exited me.

another reason that i would like to visit nepal is becouse the sherpa people, this is a culture how was lived on the Himalaya for many years, they know everithing about mountains and i think i would be learn so much with this people.

first i would go to katmandu the capital of nepal how has many tipical markets and so much culture of the sherpa people, and then i would like to go the Himalaya and visit the main mountains of there like the K2, Everest, Nanga Parvat and many otrhers.

this is a sad day becouse i will say good by you, this is my last post, but im very happy and proud for all the post that i does. on this semester i made many diferents post with differents topics, music, animals, hobbies and many others.

About my experience the blogg is a tool for me to express all my opinions and write my point of view in the diferents issues how my teacher give to me. is very dificult write on a blog but i do very well i think and we can have the posibility to coment the post of another classmates this is very important becouse you can know the opinion of other people about your own posts

It is a good experience to write in inglish i think this a very good way to understud more the language and make it more familiar with me, i hope to have the posibility to make many others post in the future to express my opinions ans talk about so much diferents topics

my favorite subject this semester

In this semester i have many subjects, some subjects of math and others how have many topics related with plants, ecosistems and forestry.

My favorite subject in this semester is call "crecimiento y desarrollo de arboles" in other words is all the ways wich grow a tree and wich factors affect on that. this topics are very interesting for me, we talk about the wood, the hormones affecting in growing, the diferent tipes of stress in the enviorment, and many others topics related with nature and his components.

this subject is very diffcult to pass becouse we learn a lot of topics every day so i have to study so much for this subject, but i like it becouse i learn diferents things that are very interesting for me.

i do not like this subject for one especific thing, the teachers, i think the teachers are not very interesting in the learning of any student, they only talk to the all class and they live, we dont talk about any extra topic and they dont put entusiasm on the class.

hi budys!! in this blog im going to talk about music and what kind of music likes me.
first i have to say that the music is an espectacular form to say your feelings in another way but so much stronger and honest.

wahen i was only a kid i listen all types of music; reggae music, rap music, even some classic music. but when i been older my interesting of music are going change. i remeber one stage of my life that i listen only classic rock and i was love it, i listen pink floyd, deep purple, led zepelin, queen and the roling stons. to this day i think thats groups are the best of history music, but now my interest music are another.

in this moment im so exiting with the music of ancient cultures, they are almost always instrumental and combined many diferents instruments to make one and powerful sound, that sound is very stronger and transmit the listener all the experienses and beliefs of the particular culture. i respect this music becouse is a music that transent many centuries.

in this post im going to talk about vacations. vacations is always an expectaluar moment that you can enjoy with your family, friends or even alone. in my opinion the best vacations i ever had is with my friends becouse you can do wath ever you want in very beatifull places.

i remember one particular vacation when i travel arround south america, peru, ecuador and colombia, and i do that with 7 school friends, i enjoy very much that holydays. every day we go to partys in night and visited amazing places in day, the best place we go it was machu pichu, the ruins of the inca people, the mystical and powerfull of that place realy exited me, all the construccion and the mountains arround the ancient city are espectacular.

another vacation that i remeber with so much emotion is when i go to spain and italy to visited my uncle, he is a tattoo maker and lives in barcelona. europe realy have amazing places and citys, and also have the most pretty womens in the world i realy enjoy that. i remeber an espesific day that we go to casana, a little twon in the north of italy, this is the twon that my family comes, the croxatto people, in this twon we are so wlad becouse we are realy welcome, all the croxatto people give us many presents and they invited us to lucnh in they houses. that was a very emotive and nice day.

hi bloggers, today im going to talk about the photos.
the people love the pohots, but why? is becouse the photos brings beatifull moments that we live with people how nows are not with us.

for me the photos are very important in my life, i have many photos; with my family on vacations, wtih my firends in the school, with my parents on chiristmas, etc. and i appreciate so much. Also in my sports i always been related with photos, on the river when i kayaking, on the rock when i climbing i always take photos to the landscapes and also me in that landscapes.

Recently i discover the panoramic photos and i was so exiting becouse now i can take 360 grades photos and you can appreciate all the place. the panoramic photos is an extraordinay invent and since i discover this i never stop to use, either when im with my family or with my firends or lost in some extravagant nad beatifull place.

amazing animals

animals. for me animals are very interesting and i am so exiting to talking about them.
 the animals are live in the earth since million years ago and there are evoluting and changed his caracters to can live on earth conditions, but the animals how people see actualy are not the same of thousan years ago.

the milodon is an example, the milodon its a extinct species and he was live in the south of chile, the milodon can measure over 3 mts, wieghs tree tons and feeded of the threetops.

Today we found another tipes of animals, they have to coexist with human constanly like pets. but there are native species how never seen a human. the natives species are so important becouse there are the last of a evolutive chain. in chile he have a lot of native species like condor, puma, huemul, ranita de darwin, pudu, martin pescador, alcon peregrino, guanaco, vicuña, and many others, we have the duty of care native species, if we do not the only animals how live on earth will be us.

the danger of technology

although i always says the technology is very dangerous for the humanity i used the technology to.
first of all i have to say that the technology it worries me boecouse the people are controled by technological devices, since the nanotechnology apears the people dont talk to each other, the children spend all the day in the computer or in t.v and will come a time where all the humanity will be slave of technology.

but i recue one or twoe technological devices, the fotography i think its a very important device and i used constantly in my life becouse the photographs can make you returned to the past and remember very nice moments of travels or with people how loves you.

returning to the problem of the technology i have to say to the people that we have to come back to the old, interact in person not by an device, the people have to preceive all the things arround us and dont forget were we come, not for a technological device.

my career

all my life i have been very close with the nature that is the main reason to chose forestry as my carrer, but forestry wasnt be my first choise.

when i was a litlle boy i want to study geology beocuse i realy like the earth and his components, geology complains all diferents topics of volcanism, glacietions, tectonic plates and that realy exited me.

unfortunately i couldn`t enter to geology but im so happy with forestry becouse i have diferents classes of weather, something of geology, botanic and many others that make forestry better than geology becouse now i learn not only topics of geology i learn all the components there are part of the nature.

at the moment when i enter to forestry i liked immediately, the university, the students, the teachers, especially the english teacher, are very nice. finaly i have to say that antumapu its a huge green place and that is dificult to find in santiago, people how study here are privileged.

memoirs of a kayaker

hey my name is tomas croxatto, i was born in santiago in 1997 and when i have 2 years old i go live to pirque with my family. i studied in almenar del maipo school and then i enter to the universidad de chile where im study forest ingienery.

my family is not so big, i have two brothers and my mom and dad, they always support me in my decitions and tath its so important to me, we are a very close family and im so proud of that.

 for all my life i been a very good athlete, when i was only a kid i compete on triathlon races and i did very well. then i learn how to kayaking on the rivers and i love it, from that moment i do kayaking on the maipo river every weekend.

speaking about my interests i like spend time with my friends, walk arround the mountains in the maipo valey and dwon river in kayak.
